Meet Our New Technical Marketing Strategist:

Seth Meyer

If someone else were describing you in fewer than five words, what would those be?

I would say, “Positive. Thoughtful. Open-Minded. Caring. Driven.”

Where did you grow up?

I grew up on the Northside of Muncie. I graduated from Wes-Del High School and while I’ve lived in a few different places, I’ve settled down in the Anderson area. I’m a big believer that you’re never too old to grow, change, or adapt.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a Zoologist. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of Steve Irwin, but in high school I started programming and fell in love. Since then, I’ve always wanted to create and release my own video game/s, which is why I ended up pursuing my B.S. in Software Development from WGU.

What do you like to do for fun?

I’m huge on family, so time spent together is the most fun for me. We like to frequent baseball games, kayak, hike, visit Chicago, and explore new food to name a few things. Other fun things I love to do include reading, building model kits, woodworking, playing video games, watching anime, and trying my hardest to get my daughters to love Marvel as much as I do. With Spider-Man: Brand New Day, I may have 100% converted my youngest over. I’ll work on Star Wars next.

If you had to live by one quote what would it be?

There is one quote that I’ve lived by since high school: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

― Mark Twain

What does it mean to do the right thing by a client?

For me, that’s making sure that you always have their best interest at heart. A client trusts you to do right by them, to help grow their business, and it’s important that you always keep this in mind. In addition, I’m big on clear and open communication. Making sure that you’re communicating well goes a very long way.

How can someone connect with you online?

One can always connect with me on LinkedIn.
